Most recently, Mr. Barnes served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for American LaFrance. A long time resident of Central Florida, Barnes attended Seminole Community College and the University of Central Florida where he majored in History.
Mr. Barnes has personal field experience with the Altamonte Springs Fire Department, Orange County Sheriff's Office and Valencia Community College. He began Aero Products Corporation in 1978 leading the Company into the Inc. 500 in 1983. In 1994 he introduced the MedicMaster® and RescueMaster® vehicles to the Fire and EMS industry. In 1998 Barnes sold the Company to Freightliner, LLC and joined its subsidiary, American LaFrance.
